Resetting controls to default.
I have the lovely Atari dual fightstick with trackball and Rasperry Pi 3B+. I am an old DOS and Windows guy and have not entirely made my peace with Linux yet. I had things working pretty well, then I messed with it. I have re-installed a couple times, but I just can't seem to get the controls back to defaults. Perhaps I screwed up the Xinmo? Anyway, right now I can bring up the menu, but nothing I hit on the console or on an attached keyboard will move the selection. Is there a way to reset the input configurations remotely? Help?

Hello @Aloysius and thanks for posting on the Microcenter Community Forum. Have you tried connecting a keyboard via USB to see if the keyboard can move and allow you to select restore to defaults in settings?
-
Yes, As I said in the original post, "nothing I hit on the console or on an attached keyboard will move the selection".
-
I thought that the re-install (from hitting the shiftkey at boot) would restore all the settings to default, but it doesn't appear to affect them.

msg landshark for the atari image on the sd card and try to reflash the image of the card
-
@Aloysius we can request for another sd card to be sent to you. I'll create a ticket to accomplish that request.

Well, I successfully flashed the image onto the card and re-installed from it. Now it tells me it can't find a controller and I should hold a button down. If I hold a button down on my keyboard, it allows me to configure it, but I cannot get it to recognize that I am holding down any of the buttons on the fightstick console. I must have messed up my Xin-Mo. Is that the XM-10?

Could you take a picture of the connectors as they are plugged into the XM-10 so I can be sure I am plugging the new one in correctly?
