9700K Price Adjustment

I drove 2.5 hours to pick up this 9700k on Sunday and paid $219.99. Noticed yesterday, Monday, the price had dropped to $199.99. Any chance I could get a refund to the card I paid with? Or do I have to drive back to make the price adjustment. I understand if you are very busy, if I have to drive there again, I would probably like to upgrade instead to the 9900k for the extra $30. Hello! Looking into this, we are able to price protect, but it appears a debit card was used and we are unable to process that remotely. It would have to be done in-store.

  • If i cannot make it back to the location within the 15 day limit, is there any chance I could get a credit on my account instead? Then I could just use it to apply to an online order?

  • @Fillyblizzle just chiming in. Price protection is good for 30 days from the date of purchase. But where you may come across a challenge is that the price for the 9700K in 30 days may not be $199.99 at the time.

I looked up the 9700K temporary sale; looks like this price is good until March 11th. We don't have the information on if the Dallas store will put it back to $219.99 or continue the sales price after March 11th.

We can request for a Manager from Dallas to call you, but it may take 2-3 days for a call back as they are busy dealing with in-store customers and store staff.

Let us know if you'd still like for us to request for a Dallas Store Manager to call you.

Thank you very much, I really appreciate your stellar customer service.

Yes I live a good distance away, and doubt I would be able to make it back to the store before March 11, but would be interested in seeing if we could work something out. I'm in no hurry but would love to speak with the Manager, Cary Regenye, or one of his subordinates whenever time permits.

Email or text are usually better for me, but if I know to expect a call from a certain number I can make sure it doesn't get auto-screened. Will the call be coming from the store phone #? It does not appear to be listed (for good reason I'm sure).

  • @Fillyblizzle we'll submit the request for a Dallas Store Manager to call you. Again give them 2-3 days to call. It should be from a 972-664-xxxx number. I'll mention to them they can email you as well.

I'll be emailing you for some information as well, so please respond today if you can, thanks.

I'll be patient, but I was curious if I should have seen that email already? Did you send it to <removed by moderator>? Last email I have from microcenter is from March 9, titled  "Congratulations! You've been promoted to Level 1."

Yes, it looks like we tried to email you on Wednesday and again just now.

  • Got the email finally, sorry spam filters caught it, Looks like the deal has expired as of today? The item shows to be sold out and I doubt you'll be getting more in?

  • @Fillyblizzle just chiming in. I looked up the i7-9700k, the store has extended the $199.99 to March, 15th, tomorrow.

If you are wanting to get the adjustment visit the store today or tomorrow to have your debt card re-swiped for the credit.

If you are wanting to return the I7-9700K, they may have some in the back and the site just hasn't been updated yet. We'd recommend to visit the store to confirm what is in the back.
