Need help upgrading PC

-
Hello, I'd look at something like this for your price range!
-
Hey! I’m not looking to build one but instead upgrade my parts! Are these parts better then what I’m using?
-
What exact processor and motherboard brand / model do you have currently?
-
The cpu is the intel i5 and motherboard is shit I think
-
@Princehood01 just chiming in. What @Ian suggested in the link is most likely better than your I5 and Intel motherboard. The AMD Ryzen 5 3600 and the B450 motherboard is one of the best CPU/Motherboard combo out today.
So yes, its better than what you have. If you go with it, you'll be changing your system from a Intel PC to a AMD PC.
-
I was told to go for the i9 and a motherboard from a fellow pc buddy of mine. Is that better then the AMD? I just wanna spend about 1000$ upgrading my pc parts so that these warzone crashes and lags stop.
-
I should mention I just got a EVGA GeForce RTX 3060

@Princehood01 AMD chips are designed to perform better than intel chips, that why they are cost more than intel processors (ex., I9, I5, etc.).
But intel chips are still good chips. This doesn't mean an I9 won't meet or go beyond its performance for what you need it to do for your upgrades.
So you could still do a I9 and a intel motherboard, but AMD chips are the Cadillac of processors right now, even though Intel is still luxurious.
Look at the Intel I9-10900x and the ASUS Rog XII Hero Z490 combination. You can't go wrong with this intel chip and motherboard.

My cart for your store currently has Intel Core i9-10900, ASUS Z490A Prime, CPU / Motherboard Bundle, EVGA 750 BQ 750 Watt 80 Plus Bronze Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply, Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 32GB (2 x 16GB) DDR4-3200 PC4-25600 CL16 Dual Channel Desktop Memory Kit CMW32GX4M2E3200C16 - Black and then I just bought the EVGA GeForce RTX 3060
12G-P5-3657-KR. Please tell me that’s good and better then what I’m running ... -
@Princehood01 you're all set. Everything listed will work and yes it will out perform your current system.
I'm not sure of your chassis (case), but as long as it is a mid to full ATX tower, all of this should fit.
-
Not sure. Does this help?
-
@Princehood01 that looks like a Mid Tower per the photo. That should work for the components you have in your cart.
-
Do you guys install the parts and for how much?
-
@Princehood01 yes we can do it. It's going to run you $149.99.
