Hi, I'm a noob at building but for too long have dealt with ram and their relatively simple installation.
Today, I got the MSI B550 Tomahawk.
Went insane trying to install my ram on this board. With tabs on only one end of each slot it's very hard getting them darn modules in.
so, is this normal? Are other motherboard manufacturers going this route as well?
Seems insane to put something out like this.
That's fairly common in motherboards the last few years, the easiest way to install I've found is push it into the non-locking side first.
LOL, well, yes, that's intuitively the way to go. Actually, it's obvious.
But even then it was a hellish 20 minutes or so.
