Hello @techsoup685 and thanks for posting on the Microcenter Community Forum. The Ryzen 9 3950x would be the better build. Including the 32gb of memory which is very good for the 3950x. We're not aware of what games you will be playing, but this system would be great for gaming, 3d gaming, video rendering (editing), etc.
