Amplifier adapter
I am hard of hearing & wear binaural inadequate aids. I am doing web video training this week with an otc bluetooth Sony headset which can only go as loud as my laptop speakers can go. I am looking for alternative options, possibly a bluetooth amplier adapter that can plug into the headphone port on the laptop ,, or what other alternative is there that can provide a much louder volume/audio so I can hear what is being said better? Laptop is a Toshiba Satellite model P75-A7200 with OS- Edition Windows 10 Home Version 20H2 installed on 2/14/2021 OS build 19042.870 Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 120.2212.551.0...Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4700MQ CPU @ 2.40GHz 2.40 GHz installed RAM 8.00 GB (7.77 GB usable) System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor

Hello @Tamy and thanks for posting on the Microcenter Community Forum. There are audio amplifiers out there that can connect to your Laptop, then you plug in your headset to the amplifier; but unfortunately we only stereo equipment amplifiers. We don't have any information for if and when we'll get amplifiers that work with laptops.
Below is a google link of some that will work for you laptop.
Another option would be to try to amplify your audio on your laptop. Follow these instructions:
Right click on the start menu (4 white squared windows in lower left corner) and select Run. Type Control Panel and hit Enter. Then click on Hardware and Sound (or under Sound click on Hardware and Sound). Select your headset, then click on Properties (slightly to the lower right of the sound box or frame). Then click on the enhancements tab and click Loudness Equalization. Then hit Apply and click on the Levels Tab. Move the headphones volume up to the highest and click Apply, then okay.
Try out the headset now.
Google link (Laptop Audio Amplifiers): Look at the $23.99 one from Amazon brand is LVY.
