For a few months now, every now and then I would get emails for receipts from Microcenter in Tustin for items I didn't buy. It seems like the buyers of those items knew my email so they used it when they bought at MC, or it could've been they told the cashier wrong email or phone number by accident, which then was somehow accidently mine. I've bought at MC a lot of times, all using the same credit card and phone number/email. Is there a way to bind my credit card to the same phone number/email so that no one else can use mine again? Also, is it a bad thing that other people are using my email to send receipts to? like, can it gets me into something bad?
Hello @sanapri and thanks for posting on the Microcenter Community Forum. Unfortunately we can not attach a card to your Microcenter profile, our system doesn't work like that. We can though; if you'd like, let a Tustin Manager know of your account continues to be selected for purchases for other customers. Its most likely an issue on the cashier side in the store.
There's not advantage for someone to use someone else email address to make a purchase in our store.
Would you like for us to notify this concern with a Tustin Manager?
@TSTDavey Thanks for answering my questions, I would really appreciate it if you could notify this with the Tustin Manager for me, thank you. :)
Hello, we have sent you an email to you regarding this.
This has also been happening to me for the past few months. I have reached out via chat/phone but I still receive emails for purchases/returns that do not belong to me.
@jkung we'll email you for some information.
