Having trouble connecting headset to my powerspec G508. We have turtle beach headphones. They work with Xbox but not with the pc. Checked pc settings, and bluetooth is enabled. Thanks for your help.
Does it not show up in your list of devices when you try to pair it? https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/pair-a-bluetooth-device-in-windows-2be7b51f-6ae9-b757-a3b9-95ee40c3e242#
It doesn't see them. It shows a list of random devices that are unrecognizable but not the actual headphones. The headphones are on and green light ready for discovery.
Between the lack of bluetooth and the spotty wifi connection, we're struggling. The pc is having difficulty with both despite other devices functioning fine in same area.
@cdominick What is the exact model of your Turtle Beach headphones?
@cdominick just chiming in. Yes we'll need to know the model you have. The model you have may not work with Windows 10 via bluetooth, only hardwire connection (usb and 3.5mm headset cord).
I think they're specific to Xbox One. Is it possible to recommend a new bluetooth headset that is compatible with this pc? When we purchased this particular pc with these specs, we specifically asked if his existing turtle beach headset would work. That said, now I just need to get a functioning headset with mic. Thanks so much!
Here are the options we would have for Bluetooth w/ mic: https://www.microcenter.com/search/search_results.aspx?Ntt=bluetooth+headphones&Ntk=all&sortby=match&N=4294966661+4294810045+4294820553+4294821799&myStore=true
