Pricing mistake

I think there is a mistake on the raspberry pi ad.

Normally the price goes down with bulk purchases. LoL

  • Hello @Vandavauk and thanks for posting on the Microcenter Community Forum. The raspberry pi bulk prices are what you see there. You can also see the same bulk price increase for the Raspberry PI Zero v1.3 under sku# 421446.

    The price increases as the quantity in bulk is purchased.

    As @TSTDavey stated, this is actually normal for this listing. You're correct that there are normally bulk discounts for products purchased in bulk, but this is usually not the case for items sold on retail shelves, especially items in high demand. Pricing such as this is used to limit large purchases in-bulk so that other customers have the opportunity to purchase the product at the sale price. Alternatively, if product supply is low, you may also see limitations such as "one per customer" or "one per household" to make sure customers get an equal chance at getting the product.
