need pc build help

So I'm trying to restore an old pc and I've transferred it into a new case and cleaned all the parts and connected everything but when I turn on the computer on the motherboard it gives me an error code and when i tried googling up the code I couldn't find anything. I don't even know the motherboard brand it's an abit-av8 motherboard. i get an error code and the fans don't spin could you guys help me out if not i'll just scrap the project

Hello @Cesarito32 and thanks for posting on the Microcenter Community Forum. If the transferred build is not booting or posting there may be a incompatibility issue.

What is the error or error code you are getting a boot up?

What is the old pc make and model? What is the make and model of the case you moved it to?

I think it's a custom pc because i don't see a make and model. the error code on the motherboard is 0.2 and its put into a NZXT S340 which is a somewhat old case. the fans don't spin either

Looking up the board model on Google, it looks like the board was produced around 2004-2005, with the age of the board, we wouldn't be able to assist with repairs.

so should i just scrap the project because if i can't figure out why it wont boot i don't want to spend money trying

I really wouldn't see it to be feasible. You would be dealing with obsolete parts if you can find them third party/used online.
