this is what i currently have, i'm looking to upgrade for gaming. budget would like to stay under $500 if possible.

also do you recommend a smaller tower that this can fit in. i currently have Cooler Master HAF 932 Advanced - High Air Flow Full Tower Computer Case with USB 3.0 and All-Black Interior

With a 4770k, I'd look at a RTX 2060 in that price range. A video card better than that you are going to experience decent bottlenecking due to the CPU.

To add wireless, the easiest way to do that is with a USB wireless adapter such as https://www.microcenter.com/search/search_results.aspx?Ntt=usb+wireless+adapter&Ntk=all&sortby=match&N=4294966871&myStore=false

As for replacing your case, you will need a case that supports an ATX motherboard at least, here are the cases we would have that would fit that: https://www.microcenter.com/search/search_results.aspx?Ntt=atx+case&Ntk=all&sortby=match&N=4294964318+4294808235&myStore=false You can get down to a mid-tower case in size with an ATX board.
