I have to drive about an hour each way to your north Detroit store monthly and settle for over priced office(convenience) stores parts to often. need stores on west side and south side.
What if you just sold the 20% that accounts for 80% of sales at your super stores? dont need a dozen router mfgs, with many models. a choice of 2 or 3 of core items would please me, can still do road trips to super store as i currently do. Best buy hardly carries anything any more.
nano Centers :)
little micros?
Mini Micros
what if you combined them with something else? when i go to madison heights i aways stop at Krispy Kreme donuts, and they are no where else, either...
Hello! Thank you for providing us a location you think a Micro Center would be great at! That is an interesting idea! I don't really have the pay-grade to make the decision of opening up a location but I can send this to the people that are and see their thoughts and opinions!
Yes, but what about 20/80 3/1?
The mini micros had me laughing so hard haha.
I know micro center is always open to considering new locations. No news as of yet on that though!
IMHO they should get all the old Fry's Electronics/Radio Shack locations that did well.
Though they probably can't afford it because their stores are constantly filled with sales associates stepping over each other.
They should get those stores, refit them or tare them down and rebuild them, then transfer some of the employees.
Or, going off the mini-micro idea. They could partner with someone like Wallmart and run their electronics department. They rent out that section from them for a reasonable fee, then stock and staff it themselves.
