If a product I purchased at micro center has a 2 yr warranty plan, am I able to bring in said product at any time during the 2 yr window and have it exchanged (for the same product obviously) at 0 cost? or does something HAVE TO be wrong with it internally or physically? also is my receipt 100% required or will the products box with its micro center tags be enough for proof of purchase/protection plan? 😅
Hello @evani the protection plan would be utilized if there is an actual problem with the item. We do not require the receipt, as long as we are able to locate the purchase of the item and verify the warranty.
If there is a problem with the item, and we are not able to repair it, then we would offer credit toward another purchase, so any price difference would need to be paid. Unfortunately, the replacement plan is put into place to protect the product, when the product fails. If there is something wrong with the product, you can bring the product into your local micro center and we can give you the msrp of the product on to a gift card. This outcome will also depend on the product.
