MicroCenter unable to link my online account with in-store purchases

So I created an online account on 5/19 but didn't buy anything. I went to the Microcenter in Brooklyn today and they couldn't locate my account information using my email address or my phone number. Both of which are added to my account. Anyway I purchased the items I wanted and gave them my email address (again same as my online account) and my address. I got a receipt on my email. But when I see my online account I dont see this recent purchase.

It seems Microcenter is completely unable to link the account you create online with the purchases you make in store. The store can't find your account and when you do buy something and give them your email, it doesn't show up on your online account. This is so weird.
