Lithophanes have been a popular gift since printers first came around and are achieved by turning a picture into a 3D model where the darker colors are represented by thicker areas and when you shine a light through it comes out as a faux-sepia toned picture!
when making these i'll use this tool https://lithophanemaker.com/, cool white pla, as low of a layer height as my machine can go (typically .08mm), and a LOT of patience to get the best quality images possible
