Looking for advice on finding a desktop

Hi. Im trying to find a decent gaming desk top for my son but im not looking to spend thousands of dollars on one. I also dont want if full of all those stupid preloaded apps and software that just take up soace and you never use and a good warranty.  I dont have the knowledge to attempt to build one myself. And i tried researching some on my own and all the numbers made my head hurt. Is there any way yall could help point me in the right direction please? And please dont send me to best buy, i dont want to buy an over priced computer full of stuff we will never use that we cant get rid of. Thank you!!
