1st build and need help picking parts

Hi, so my budget is 1300-1400 USD (that $100 is the only room for going over budget) I’m very knowledgeable on what everything is, works, and where it goes but I need help figuring out what would be compatible parts and suitable for my needs. This pc would be used for gaming, games like apex, gta v, fortnite, indie games, and sims 4 with more than over 300+ custom content. This pc would also be used for the occasional photoshop and picture editing and browsing but that’s more of a less important purpose while the main is gaming so it doesn’t need to be the best for editing. I don’t have a monitor yet either so any recommendations on that would be helpful too thanks. (The monitor isn’t included in the budget for pc just a side question)

the 5600x is my favorite processor and one of the best processors for the price at the moment. Picked a midpriced 3060, but finding any GPU at this moment is pretty hard.

There are definite changes that could be made to this build, I did look at some of the Brand Named stuff and can be switched for other less expensive alternatives. Monitor wise, I would recommend anything that is 1080-1440p and 120-144Hz.

Hey Phillip, thanks so much for the build idea I think this is definitely what I was looking for and thanks for the monitor recommendation. I think I’m just going to stick with this build and see how it goes. Thanks!
