Micro Center Video Card Wait List

Last week, I went to the Fairfax Micro Center to get some computer parts. And of course, there was no GPU's. An employee recommended me to sign up for a wait list. I told him the video card class, and some other info. 2 days later, I received an email that my in-store reservation was ready to pickup. The GPU reserved was the MSI RTX 3060 3X OC Edition card, which was $519.99. I had a budget of $1,000, so paying for a GPU more than half of the budget wasn't going to be a good idea. Now, I plan to sign up for the wait list again and hope to get reserved for the cheaper RTX 3060 cards, but how can I do it?

Would I have to sign up in-person with an employee, or can I do it online?

Thanks, palvin

Thank you for posting on the Micro Center Community! It's actually common to put about half or a little less than half of your budget into your GPU. However, it is fine to aim for the cheaper priced 3060s for sure, you will need to come back into the store and speak with staff to get onto that reservation list as this is something store specific.
