There should be a micro center location in Charlotte North Carolina
With how big Charlotte North Carolina is a I really think it would be worth it and they would get a lot of business, they have a location in Atlanta which is only 4 hours away but still some people don't want to drive that far.

Hello @Brodie
Thanks for the suggestion. I will forward this over to our managers here at the corporate office and have them look into this.

Please please please come to Charlotte. The crew from Microsoft Charlotte alone could keep you business :) Not to mention the scores of gamers at UNCC, Bank of America, Duke Energy. The pilgrimage to Georgia is long and fraught with danger, (Namely keeping your car way from the potholes on I-85)

Greetings,
Thank you for posting on the Micro Center Community! Thank you for providing us a location you think a Micro Center would be great at! I don't really have the pay-grade to make the decision of opening up a location but I can send this to the people that are and see their thoughts and opinions!

I know this is an older thread...but yes....pleassssse come to Charlotte. I had a chance to visit one of your stores on a business trip and really would love to have a local Microcenter in the Charlotte area. Maybe a location in Ballantyne or the University area? I grew up being able to wander the halls of the old CompUSA stores and miss being able to do that now...

Hello! We do see quite a few requests for a location in Charlotte, so it's definitely on our radar. We'll be sure to share this with our real estate team to hopefully nudge them in that direction!

Like the previous stated, we would love for you guys to come to Charlotte! Especially our city is border to SC as well! What if we could start a petition to show potential customer base? Our Charlotte Reddit support the idea

Thanks for showing support! Perhaps one day it can happen!

I know many people have brought up the advantages to Charlotte as a new location but it is pretty much perfect. I have been tempted to drive to Atlanta a few times for a part but I cant justify the gas prices for a 4 hour drive.
Ill just leave this here for the real estate team :)

Thanks for sharing your idea for a good place for a new Micro Center store! Perhaps one day it can happen!

I agree with everyone else in that it would be great to have a Micro Center in Charlotte, especially in the University area as there are a lot of gamers, makers, and businesses that would benifet from your store being in the area. I truly enjoyed your store in Dallas and would love to see a a local Micro Center in Charlotte. I would spend at least one day a week in there just on 3D filament. All the other locations are too far away.

I agree with this entire thread! Charlotte would be awesome...Rock Hill area? What's the latest news on Charlotte? This thread is over a year old.

Made an account just to keep this thread alive. The Indian land area is having a massive development boom. They're clearing land for new hospitals and commercial areas to meet demand of all the residential areas they built. Please please please come to the Charlotte area, the timing is perfect to get established in SC.

I've made purchases at your Brentwood, MO store and would love to be able to buy more at a Charlotte location! ;-)

Yes please come to Charlotte. Sooooo tired of BB.

I brought up Charlotte as a new location in a senior leadership meeting around 2014/15. Rick Mershad looked at me like I had 3 heads and my boss said “horrible idea, that’s why you won’t go far with this company.”Now I hear 2023 will be the year it opens in Charlotte.
