PC is frozen upon waking up from idle
So for the last week or 2, nearly every time I wake my PC up from idle (note: NOT sleep) it's frozen. No cursor, can't type anything, and even the audio bars from my mixer are just stuck in the middle. This all forces me to hard shutdown the PC with the power button.
After looking up my event viewer, this error keeps popping up:
"The application-specific permission settings do not grant Local Activation permission for the COM Server application with CLSID
{2593F8B9-4EAF-457C-B68A-50F6B8EA6B54}
and APPID
{15C20B67-12E7-4BB6-92BB-7AFF07997402}
to the user VENGEANCE\mrehw SID (S-1-5-21-854354323-3495544423-3941126532-1001) from address LocalHost (Using LRPC) running in the application container Unavailable SID (Unavailable). This security permission can be modified using the Component Services administrative tool."
Not sure if that's what's causing things. Anyone else had this issue? Running Windows 10 and it's all drivers etc are updated.

Greetings. I would start by trying the system file checker built in to Windows, perhaps there is an issue it can correct. Here is how to do this, please try each of the scan options listed in our guide:
-
Appreciate the help! I ran that and it did not find any issues... @Ian
-
Try a clean boot and see if the issues persist after doing that, this would help isolate if it is an issue with a specific program
-
We'll really need to know the full specifications on your system to figure out what's going on. Please provide your specifications. CPU and motherboard are going to be most important here, given the description of the issue. It sounds like an issue with your vcore at idle.
-
I will try a clean boot this evening @Ian thank you for that suggestion!
And the components for the PC are as follows @TSMikeW -
Corsair Vengeance i7200
CPU: Intel i9-10850K
BOARD: MSI Z490ATX
GPU: NVIDIA RTX 3080
RAM: 32GB DDR4-3200
STORAGE: 1TB NVME SSD + 2TB HDD
PSU: Corsair 750w
Thank you as well for your input!

I have the plan set to 15 min to turn off display and to not go to sleep.
I'm not familiar with Dragon Center
-
No utility software from MSI installed? Regarding your power plan. I mean if you go into Power Options - Additional Power Settings. Are you on a High Performance or Balanced Plan?
-
No - no utility from MSI. This is a Corsair prebuilt that came with it's own utility/diagnostic software etc.
And yes I'm on high performance plan - which I do prefer
-
First I would switch to balanced. You can change the sleep timers of course. Lets see if the issue follows the power plan.
