Hello @philip_c
I believe the G313 came with a 480GB SSD.
A 3.5 to 2.5" drive adapter should work if you're going with an SSD.
Or we also carry a drive mounting kit that you could insert into the back of the system.
Let me know if this properly answers your question!
Thanks!
Drive rails should have been included in the accessories kit with the purchase, I am assuming you do not have this? Unfortunately we would not have replacements available as we have not sold this model of PC or case for quite some time.
@JS_MC @Ian I have a question about this model too. I do not have the drive rails, unfortunately. After buying the Kingwin bracket, where do I need to insert this bracket? Do I need to put screws to hold it in place? Also, please let me know if I need to buy additional cables. Thank you guys so much!
Which Kingwin bracket do you have exactly ? Typically it should just slide into the existing 3.5" drive mount and screw into place from my understanding.
@Ian Thanks for your answer! The problem is that G313 (or G314) models have drive mounts with no ability to have screws inserted (only allows sliders with rails). Regardless of which bracket I buy, I would have to buy Hard Drive Mounting Plastic Rails additionally... Unless I completely misunderstood how this drive mount was designed.
I'm going to tag @PowerSpec_MikeW on this who might be able to provide some additional information for you in regards to this.
@CSLA @philip_c
We should still have a few sets of the drive rails available. @ me here and we'll setup a ticket. We should be able to ship out a few sets for you.
@PowerSpec_MikeW @philip_c Thank you guys so much. How should I communicate to share my shipping address and billing info?
@CSLA
Created a ticket for you. You'll get an email from us requesting that information.
