Can a docking station drive two monitors in extended mode with one connection to the docking station

I am looking for a docking station for two laptops and an older (early 2014) macbook air. I have keyboards, mouse, two monitors, web cams, printer and ethernet i am looking to connect to each one. Laptops have the following ports:

Macbook air

  • Two USB 3 ports (up to 5 Gbps)
  • Thunderbolt port (up to 10 Gbps)
  • one HDMI

ASUS Laptop

  • 2 x USB SuperSpeed Type-A,
  • 1 x USB 3.1 Type-C,
  • 1 x HDMI,

HP LAPTOP

  • 1 x USB A 3.1 Gen 1,
  • 1 x USB 3.0 Type-C, (3.1 gen 1)
  • 1 x HDMI,

I tried to connect with a usb C to HDMI cable but had to get an adapter for the extended view to work. No DP Alt Mode(?) I could only connect one monitor to the adapter and the other directly to HDMI port because it lacked DP Alt mode. Will a docking station support two additional monitors in extend mode with any of these connections if i don't have the alt mode? I only want one cable to the laptop. Thank You
