Question about a 3rd storage drive ssd or m.2

I have an aorus gaming 7 and am using 2 sata ssd samsung evos as storage currently.

I need to add another drive for more disk space but was wondering if I should grab another evo ssd, or an m.2

• I have a 3080ti right now and it's huge and don't know if it will conflict with the 'proper' slot to use that m.2 - I have never used nor bought an m.2 before
• Should I just stick with another samsung evo or go for the m.2 knowing the above?

any help would be greatly appreciated

Greetings, Aorus gaming 7 isn't quite specific enough for us to know what you have as they have used that model name for their X470s, Z370s and and Z270s. Which do you have?

Looking at the motherboard manual, there are three open m.2 slots. I could for sure seeing at least 1 be hard to use with a video card in there, but you should be able to use at least one of the other two slots no problem. Here is the manual page for the m.2 slots and installation information:
