For two years, I had my Dell XPS-15 9570 in the Micro Center shop for repairs, and the result was a replacement gift card for the laptop to be used only at Micro Center. But the actual replacement computer, the Dell XPS-15, is always out of stock. They keep offering me other models, but no other model is comparable in features. I want the same kind of computer that I had that was determined to be faulty. It seems unfair to me that I should have to accept a lesser model just because the one that I had wasn't usable.
Nothing is ever mentioned about ordering one or any other options. There must be other options, I say. But what?
Hello @Martyjot and thanks for posting on the Microcenter Community Forum. We're sorry we are unable to provide the XPS-15 for you. This honestly should have been discussed with a Store Manager on other options and conveying your displeasure.
We can forward this to a store manager for them to discuss this with you further. Which store (City, State) did you get the gift card from?
I got the gift card in Dallas, Texas. And many messages have supposedly been forwarded/escalated to have Dallas management call me back, but they never have.
I apologize our management team has not reached out already. I will send you an email about this now.
