Storage on PC
I just finished my first build, and am in the process of getting the software and everything setup. I installed a Samsung NVMe M.2 SSD 980, but I have been seeing a lot of references to 2.5" SSD or an adjacent HDD. Do I need one of those other components, or will the NVMe I have do the trick? (I have the 1TB SSD).

Unless you need additional storage the NVMe is fine. I use an NVMe for boot, applications/games and then a larger 2.5" SSD for backup/storage.

Hard drive usage and type will vary by user and computer, you can use whatever combo you really like as long as you have the slots/space for them! Personally in my PC, I have an NVME for boot, along with 2.5" and 3.5" drives that I've accumulated over time.
