I am hoping for some expert feedback on a desktop for a gamer just starting out, primarily Roblox and Fortnite. I am not looking to spend a fortune and really would like to stay under $500, even happy to buy a refurbished one if a good one is listed on the site. So please tell me what I need to pay attention to when looking at the specs and what really matters.
Processor Type, GHZ (is the higher number better, like 3.0 is better than 2.7) , and generation- I noticed a few 4-8 listed.

I am sorry, there isn't a PC we could recommend at that price for gaming. With current market conditions, the cheapest desktop with a dedicated video card would put you around the $729-799 range. It would be the same price range for building your own with parts.
