Case Usbs

I just built my first pc and when I went to turn it on I felt static. I went over the Usbs and it was coming from them. How can I get rid of it and can it mess with any of the parts?

Greetings, are you referring to a static shock from the PC?

I think so when the pc is on I can feel it on usbs and went I put the front panel on the screws had some too

Is your PC on a solid surface? Typically the case / parts should not cause static like this.

What did the static come from? The actual usb header on the mobo, or the port on the case?

On the case usbs and also when I put the front panel on I felt it on the thumb screws

My pc is in a case ian I built my friends computer with all the same parts and his did not have static

Is your PC on a solid surface when it is doing this? If you move it to other outlets, does it do this?

My pc is in a case on my desk and I did not happen when it was on a different outlet left it for like 5 min and it did not happen. I don’t have a gpu yet and the gpu cables are just there is that the problem?

That should not cause an issue, if it didn't happen in another outlet, then it sounds like it is an issue with the outlet you were using.
