Product Registered to Me If Someone Else Pays?

My question is, if I pick up my daughter's order (it is under her account, her name/address/phone/email) and use my credit card, will the product still be registered in her name for store and manufacturer warranty, etc?

I ask because I did this for my son once. He created the account with the company, used his name, address, phone and email. He placed the order. But used my credit card. EVERY communication he got from the company, including shipping notices, etc. said "Hello Diane."
