New Pc Keeps Freezing/Black Screen

So I finally built my PC since the Ryzen 7 5700G recently came out amid the gpu crisis. I installed windows, updated windows, set up D.O.C.P on my Asus motherboard, and downloaded AMD Drivers from Auto-Detect and Install Updates for Radeon™ Graphics and Ryzen™ Chipset Drivers for Windows. Then my PC restarted like it asked for it to. Then I tried installing Roblox app and getting on Microsoft edge when suddenly the screen freezes and turns black. Then it turns back on to the screen it was on previously with the AMD Bug Repair Tool on display. As I fill it in to send feedback, the problem occurs again, with the screen freezing, turning black, and then going back to normal. Does anyone know what the problem might be?

If the screen is freezing, turning black, then going to back to normal. It almost sounds like what happens when you install the graphics drivers. You always get screen flashes and a black screen during this.

I would start by reinstalling the chipset driver for your board first then after that reinstall the graphics drivers for the 5700G. This time when you reinstall it, instead of using the auto detect. Try installing the driver version 21.6.1. After doing this then restarting the PC, it should resolve the issue for you. Let us know the results.

I think I may have some bad ram. I’ve gotten a lot of MEMORY_MANAGEMENT BSOD’s, and memory problems detected by a Diagnostic Test. If this isn’t the problem then I don’t know what is. For now I will use Microsoft Basic Display Adapter since trying to update to AMD Integrated Graphics Drivers will only cause more problems
