I've had a power spec g229 for a little over 2 months and recently got an ethernet cable and when i tried to connect it it didn't recognize the cable and wasn't working was wondering how I would fix it

  • Hello @Coldkilla

Can you check in your Device Manager, to see if your ethernet network controller is being recognized?

Do this by right-clicking the Start menu, then selecting Device Manager.

We're looking in the Network Adapter area.

You should see an Ethernet connection controller or similar language device listed.

If these are connected/enabled you can check in on your Network Connections, by right-clicking the start menu and then selecting Network Connections, or you can type Network Connections in the start menu.

There should be a Network troubleshooter listed in the Network Connections screen. I'd recommend running that if you still can't connect.

Let us know if this works for you.
