A little assistance in building a PC for live music production?

Hello,
I have a general idea on specs, but the vast choices of motherboards and other parts is a little intimidating. I play loop style, live, with Ableton, and lots of plug ins with midi commands and controllers. I'm not looking for anything flashy with pretty lights etc.
Can you help? It seems I'm basically looking for a gaming PC, but without the high graphics spec. 
Here's what I know I want:
Asus motherboard

Either 10th gen i7 with at least octa core, or Ryzen 9. I'm looking for 32GB ram at least. 1TB SSD. 2 HDMI outs. 8 USB type A and a thunderbolt or 2 for interface and midi controllers.

Not super knowledgeable on motherboards, https://www.microcenter.com/product/5005038/intel-core-i7-10700k,-asus-z590-plus-tuf-gaming-wifi,-cpu-motherboard-combo this combo seems decent! Check out youtube reviews with your budget seeing different testing for what you will be using it for! Also, how many usb ports will you need, what interface your using, how much power it needs, etc, etc!
