ASUS TUF B560M plus wifi 2nd NVME m.2 slot

Ive been thinking about maybe getting an SSD in the second slot (2280 measurement) , however, the screws given did not fit the standoff (which is weirdly shaped and not really a standoff) and I'm not sure what to do about it. Will other ASUS motherboard screws fit? Or just any Standoff screw kit?

You shouldn't need a M.2 screw with that board. The plastic mechanism on the stand off should spin around and lock the M.2 into place for you.

I've looked for a latch type mechanism on the motherboard but could not find one

I never saw a latch when I bought my motherboard, so the latch might be missing, and if so, I don't know what to do

Our return policy is 15 days, if this component was missing I would bring the board in for exchange. You can also contact ASUS directly for a replacement latch. They snap on.

For both m.2 slots or only the bottom one?

I'm not sure on M.2_1. The box contents state it should include a screw. You would assume there's a standoff there you can move to accommodate 2260/2242 drives. Keep in mind, M.2_1 is only functional with an 11th Gen CPU.
