I'm trying to add a SSD to my PowerSpec G469. Does anyone have a link for the manual? I see the regular SATA connectors but can't find the SATA power connectors anywhere.
Aren't they in the same "bay" as the PSU? That's where mine were on my G467
I've pulled out all the cables I can find and searched the case and don't see them anywhere.
According to the MicroCenter tech, this model doesn't come with SATA power connectors.
So PowerSpec PCs that do not have a SATA drive installed do not come with SATA power cables with the PSU. You can speak to your local service desk to see if they have these available.
I need to make a very important distinction here.
ALL PowerSpec systems come with SATA power cables. It is the SATA data cables that they do not come with as our systems are built with bulk motherboards and SATA data cables are considered accessories which are not included with bulk components. We do carry a wide variety of SATA data cables for customers that wish to add their own additional SATA drives, however these will need to be purchased separately as these would be for components that are not pre-installed in the system: https://www.microcenter.com/search/search_results.aspx?Ntk=all&sortby=match&N=4294961055+4294822441+4294821922&myStore=true
Alternatively, if you are upgrading from an older system and wish to carry over your current drive, you can simply use your current SATA cables as they should still be compatible. Lastly, if you prefer a more convenient way to transfer your data between multiple systems, we carry drive enclosures that will allow you to install your drives and use them externally across multiple systems: https://www.microcenter.com/search/search_results.aspx?Ntk=all&sortby=match&N=4294966859&myStore=true.
