Does this happen with each USB port on the system? What devices seem to be losing connection, does this happen with multiple devices?
My front top USB ports are loose and lose contact for keyboard and Kensington wireless trackball all the time.

It seems like the ports are lose and not making contact correctly.
I bought this in Aug or September and the problem has been there the whole time.
Can I just bend them a bit to make them reliable?
The system has a one year manufacturer warranty. If you've only had this for a few months, I'd suggested letting service replace the panel entirely for you.
Would I have to leave it ? I use it a lot and if I can have it done while I wait that would work. If that doesn't work, letting me replace it myself at home is the only other option.
Generally you would if they're replacing a component. In this case, the front panel. I would visit your service department and explain the issue. They'll be able to give you an accurate time estimate.
