I bought a i7-9700K on Sept 5th and requested a partial refund on Monday morning (Sept 27th) for 20 dollars.
The price further dropped later that day or midnight by 30 dollars.
Can I get an additional 30 dollar refund?
I thought that by the time the request was processed they would use the new price and give me 50 dollars but the receipt came in fairly early and I got only 20 dollars back.
Greetings, for a second price protection on one transaction, we can assist you with this directly in-store. You would need to visit the store with the card used at time of purchase and your receipt. We would be able to handle price protection requests like this only inside the store.
I used the Microcenter insider card and it is about 50 miles between where I live and the store I made a purchae from in a straight line, substantially more in roads. The store is in NYC and by public transportation it is about a 6 hour round trip. A store credit would be fine with me or if I could take it to the Westbury store. I only bought from Brooklyn store because there was no MB compatible with the CPU in the Westbury store.

Yeah and I forgot to leave them with my cell phone number(they asked whether my home phone number was correct) and also I suppose going to a different store is not an option(I did not ask this question on the chat) from the way you responded.
Was this thread closed? My post was deleted. The agent asked me whether my home phone number was correct and I said yes. I am not sure whether they have my cell phone number and I am worried about leaving home. Also it seems from the way you responded, going to a different store would not work.
Your thread was not closed nor was it deleted. It appears you flagged / reported your own post. You may have done this by mistake by clicking the wrong button.
You can visit any Micro Center store for price protection. If you want to provide another phone number you can direct message it to me and I can add it to your ticket.
That is a big relief. So if all else fail I will go to the Westbury store. And I cannot find a button to send a message to you.

It says I "don't have permission". It would have been so much simpler if I had waited just one more day. Also if I used a regular credit card by the time I went to the store the price would have been further dropped. Just an idle thought...

Everything is resolved now. I do not have to go to the store.
Wells Fargo indeed does not take automatic refund twice so going to the store was necessary indeed but Brooklyn microcenter offered an alternate method and everything is good now. Thank you for the greatest customer service.
