I have a Powerspec I purchased from you a few years back and I need to upgrade my SSD (C:) drive. It currently has a Micron_M600_MTFDDAY256MBF drive and I need to replace it. I have backups of the system drive and it is still operational, just need to know compatible drives. What would you suggest for replacement?
Thanks
@jseitzler
Could you provide us with the model of your PowerSpec, or the model of the motherboard?
It's Model B662, ACPI x64 based PC
Greetings! If you're looking to swap out the m.2, really any m.2 will work just fine. Just depends on the storage size of the actual drive you'd like to put in. Something like https://www.microcenter.com/product/627018/inland-platinum-1tb-ssd-nvme-pcie-gen-30x4-m2-2280-3d-nand-internal-solid-state-drive,-read-write-speed-up-to-3,400-mbps-and-1,900-mbps,-pcie-express- would work fine if you're looking for a 1TB drive. If you want something with more / less space, you can do that as well without issue.
I live in Quanah, TX (about 4 hours from Dallas). Is it possible to have it shipped even though it says in store only?
It appears this similar model is available for shipping: https://www.microcenter.com/product/641264/inland-prime-1tb-ssd-nvme-pcie-gen-30x4-m2-2280-3d-nand-internal-solid-state-drive
