I am trying to replace the HD in my PC with a inland 2.5" 1TB SSD

I backed up the old HD to an external drive with an image using the Windows 7 backup. I installed the new 1TB SSD with the correct cables and used a system repair DVD to start and restore the PC. It looks like the new drive is recognized by the BIOS, and the system repair disk finds the image, but when I start the restore, it fails. The error shown seems to indicate that the drive can't be found. What am I doing wrong? Or is the SSD not bootable?
