I just ordered a laptop on Micro Center. After I choose my payment method and click the "Purchase Now", the webpage jumps to the empty shopping cart and nothing about my order is shown. I also do not receive a confirmation email. Thus, I do not know whether I successfully place the order. Is this normal to happen? Can anyone help me to clarify this? Thanks.

I wonder whether the money will be deducted immediately after placing the order. There is no money deducted from my card. If that is true, I assume that I did not successfully place the order.
