Recent G468 Purchase

I purchased the G468 6 days ago. The top fan in the CoolerMaster ML240L sounds like a rattlesnake at 50 degrees. Lay the system on it's side no sound, stand it up it starts again. I know they have a 14 day return policy but if I just bring the system in will they just replace the one fan? All my stuff is on this hard drive and don't want to reconfigure another system over a silly sound. But it's driving me crazy!!!

Hello, I'm sorry to hear of the issues. You can bring that into a Micro Center store and have them look into the issue under warranty. As our community staff is not located in a store, we cannot guarantee how quick this service may be, typically it would have to be dropped off to be looked at.

If I replace the fan myself will it void my warranty?

It won't void the warranty, however, the manufacturer warranty would not cover any parts you put in the system yourself. It covers the original parts / configuration of the PC itself.

Update,

I made an appointment brought it back to the store, I was in my 15 day return and they simply wiped my old hard drive and gave me a brand new unit.

I love MicroCenter.
