iOS question about backing up Notes

I have a 2014 iMac that is probably failing (I get random black screen and have to restart the system) and I need to back up my Notes badly, I have over 200+ notes, mostly rough drafts for essays, but I'm not sure how to back up, it is not on iCloud. I tried to look up for videos on YouTube but there is no tutorials about it, the Notes on iMac is different than the one from iPhone (mine at least) I would like to try to save the notes into a usb stick and try to reformat my mac. It is very slow and it's acting up. If anyone know how to backup Notes that is not set on iCloud, pls help. Thanks

Greetings, I don't see a great way to do this first party besides doing them one by one directly in the Notes app. It appears there are third party tools you can use to export them, I'd look over this article to see if this helps: https://medium.com/macoclock/exporting-your-apple-notes-to-markdown-style-at-ease-2359a3acb6a9

Thank you, I will look into this. i need to back up all of my notes and then reset the imac because it's been too slow for me to handle any school work and the black screen crash is kind of scaring me.
