Bios level password on powerspec B610

When booting up, it displays the splash screen for PowerSpec with F2 for bios (which isnt responsive). Then message "enter password to unlock the system". Passwords  [password...upper and lower case, and blank] dont work. 3 tries and "product check failed. Please refer to product guide at >intel support fesktops motherboards>. Whats my next step?

  • To give you a bit more info. Typically a BIOS level password is only applied by users. Is it possible that you may have created this and forgot the correct answer?

    One possible way to get around this might be to clear the CMOS. You can clear the CMOS by removing the CMOS batter on the motherboard.
