Hi everyone! New to PC building and I’m looking at building a value conscious PC. I used to have an idea what was good to use about 5 years ago, but now things have changed and I’m not sure what is good to use anymore.
I’m looking to build a computer for my home office which will primarily be used for standard PC stuff and CAD design. I’ll be running CATIA and SolidWorks mostly. I also plan on working with some 3D graphic design softwares like Blender and Autodesk. I would like to be able to play a few games, possibly. Snowrunner, GTA V, and maybe iRacing without difficulty.
I plan to run 2 dedicated monitors and the normal ancillaries.
I’d like to keep budget around $1200 if possible for just the PC Tower build.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, Thank you in advance.

Here is a build list I put together that is over my budget https://www.microcenter.com/site/content/custom-pc-builder-intel.aspx?load=ef966a33-40a4-4794-bd20-1435c730f747
What should be changed?
for 3d cad it's cpu and ram heavy rather than gpu, it is somehow very different from a gaming pc except they both need a dedicated gpu.
So, for the build refer to this:
If you are going to play 3d games, 1650 might struggle to get good settings and good frames, you might just need to take the setting to low.
