Does Microcenter flash BIOS on motherboards before selling them, or do I have to do it myself?
I bought a older B-450 MoBo and was wondering if I had to flash my own BIOS so I can use a 5600g or do all motherboards bought come pre-flashed?

Hello @jshua0h
Typically, I'd base this around your motherboard production date. If the motherboard was purchased before or around August 5, 2021, it will likely require a BIOS update.
If it was purchased after, the manufacture may have shipped the motherboard with updated BIOS for the new chip.
Typically this will be denoted with a sticker on the motherboard box detailing that it is compatible with a specific generation of CPU. Like below
If you don't see this, we do offer BIOS updates as a service in our stores.
Please let me know if you have any additional questions!
