Graphic card replacement for Macbook Pro

I have an appointment to bring my computer by at 2:20. I want to know what I should expect about getting the graphics card replaced. I need the computer for work. Can it be repaired on the spot? It is showing a flickering line on the screen and some lines on the left side. I am wondering if it is going to get worse before it gets better.

Hello @Theodora! Welcome to the Community.
For repairs like that, we would have to see if we can source parts directly from Apple and have them sent to us, so it's not something we could do on the spot. You would have to leave it with us temporarily then come back and pick it up at a later date.
A workaround you could use, for now, would be to attach an external monitor to the system.
