I have 2 needs at the moment. I need a monitor and a docking station that would work with a hp notebook. I also need a docking station to work with a inspiron 7559 signature edition laptop. can you help?

Hello @marcia1! Welcome to the community.

We carry a pretty wide variety of docking stations. Any of the ones that are "universal" should work with both your laptops.

Some of the docking stations are USB-C, whereas some are standard USB, so make sure you double check the ports that are available on your systems and make sure they match. The USB-C docking stations won't be usable if your laptop doesn't have a USB-C port.

For monitors, again provided you have the right port, any of them will work. Just make sure the monitor has the right cable/port to match up with the docking station.

  • I would like to know if you have the Logitech G29 in stock for pick up tomorrow?
  • I am buying these for 2 different folks that I work with and am not able to check with their laptops look like. when I bot my docking station and monitors, someone just found what I needed and away we went. I have a Logitech docking station which is universal, I need a monitor - $129.00 or so and any cords that may be needed to go along with those items. can you point me in the right direction?

In that case, I'd go with a standard USB docking station. something like one of these:

As for the monitor, this Dell fits your price range and comes with an HDMI cable in the box, so you wouldn't need to purchase an extra cable for it. Dell is known for making good monitors so this is probably the one I'd go with:

Hi there! On the product page there you can actually see the current availability of the item, right under the name of the product where it lists "5 in stock at Brooklyn store." That reflects what we have available in the store, and our online stock listings are usually very accurate. If you'd like, you can always place a reservation request on an item by adding it to your cart and selecting the "reserve now" option and we'll have somebody in the store go to locate the item and put it off to the side for you.
  • ok the docking station looks good as does the monitor. I have 2 folks who need these items and they had hoped to be able to pick them up at the store in Fairfax va. how do I accomplish that and what will they need for the pickup?  seems like I was advised to buy an additional cord -usb cord for that? thanks.

It looks like the Fairfax store is out of the monitor as well as the J5create docking station right now. An additional USB cord would not be required for the docking station, it comes with USB plug to attach to a computer.

I'd suggest this monitor as an alternative: https://www.microcenter.com/product/483999/asus-vp247qg-236-full-hd-75hz-vga-hdmi-dp-freesync-led-monitor

As for the pickup, you can add items to your cart and place a reservation request to have them put off to the side for you, just keep in mind that whoever picks it up has to provide their own form of payment at the time of pickup. When the reservation is confirmed a confirmation email with a reservation number would be sent, whoever picks it up would need to reservation number/order information when they come in.
