Confirmation for RTX 3060?

Options

I'm looking to drive a pretty long distance for an RTX 3060 at Microcenter for the upcoming launch, so I'm trying to coordinate plans. I've yet to see any hard confirmation that the stores will be stocking this card at launch. I understand the number of cards is likely not known, but can it be confirmed the stores will have at least some RTX 3060 units at launch on the 25th?

    Hello @homsar

    I haven't received any word as to the specifics, but I have been led to believe and expect that all of our stores should have stock of the 3060 at launch!

    I'd recommend keeping an eye on our forum here and the store website. As soon as we have any info to share, we'll be sure to update it. That being said, I'm not certain when the NDA may be lifted.

    Commenting because I was wondering the same thing! I'm planning to go to dallas microcenter in hopes of snagging a 3060 (gpu is literally the only part left for my first ever build). I was wondering if the cards will be available on opening or at the actual launch time? (That might be part of NDA too so I apologize if it is). Planning to go at least 3 hours early but i'm worried that won't be enough time either.

    Will the microcenter in Tustin have the 3060 at launch and will we be able to camp out for them with COVID being around?

    Good Afternoon @TK_2

    We have limited information available for the RTX 3060. We do hope to have some available and our stores will be handing out vouchers on a first come first served basis, limited to only the stock they have on hand on launch day.

    Is there a price sheet or something for the models that you may or may not get in available anywhere? That would be super helpful when deciding to wait out in the cold tomorrow. Based on some news today that came out the markups from some companies are absurd. I want to make sure there is a chance at least a 3060 @ <=400 could be available or else I am not going to waste my time.

    Thank you for yours.

    Hello @Glix

    I replied to your other comment as well, but I'm afraid I don't have any additional info at this time.

    I'd expect to be given more info tomorrow, but I haven't been informed as to when the NDA would be lifted.

    @Glix If you look at their other prices for 3060 ti and 3070s as a comparison, it might be possible that they have some that are around 400. I'd say that they will probably be around $450 or something. Just guessing based on how things are with 3060 ti and 3070s.

    The 3060 ti is MSRP 400 and the cheapest one I see that they have is 460.

    @LandShark I appreciate the reply regardless. If possible please to communicate to someone up the chain that releasing the prices as soon as the NDA lifts would be very appreciated by us consumers. Thanks.

    @DreadPirateRoberts Thanks.

    I'm sure that as soon as the NDA lifts it will be posted to our website or a post would be created here!
