NVIDIA RTX sold out before the store open?

It happened to me few times already. I checked online daily to see if any of the RTX 30 series is back in stock at the Massachusetts location and there are few times I saw the RTX 3080 and 3070 back in stock with 4 or 5 available for in stock purchase around 8:00am.
The store won’t open until 10am at the location but all of the stock will be gone by 8:15a. I don’t quite understand how that is possible.
Feeling a bit disappointed as I was so excited to drive down to Microcenter to start my PC build.
Anyone has the same experience or it is just me?

It probably operates similar to the store in my area, I was on line for my graphics card and although the store opens at 10 we started being let in earlier, in my case 9.

Or it is another example of Micro Centers poor treatment of customers. See my post ‘Terrible Customer Service’ for details of my experience last Saturday. In that case their website said they had the card I was there for and I was second in line. At some point the card went out of stock before the store opened and when they let the 50-60 people in the said sorry no gpu’s at all and claimed their website was messed up. So a computer store doesn’t have a working website?? BS!

That’s just sad. I guess I am not going to waste anymore time with Microcenter anymore and going to keep watching Newegg and Bestbuy instead. Thank you for the heads up.
