Need Help Choosing Parts and ensuring Compatibility
Hi!
I am trying to build a custom PC. I need it mostly for my studies(Deep Learning), since I am a grad student in CS.
Can you all please take a look here:
I will be installing Linux myself, so no OS.
If this looks fine and there's no compatibility/other issues, I will visit the store and make the purchase.
Also, are there any parts that I am missing which might be necessary?
Thanks!

Greetings. Everything there looks good, you shouldn't have any issues with that build.

If you are planning on running any Virtual machines, within your Linux configuration, you might want to stick with Intel Platforms and Processors. AMD has been having issues / glitches with IOMMU Group and VM for the past few Ryzen chips and board cycles.
Where, right now Intel is not having those issue. I have done some testing with just getting VM to running in Windows 10 for the WSL1 and WSL2 and I have been unable to stay stable on a Ryzen 5 2600X on a B450M motherboard 32GB ram. However, my Old Intel i5-2500 on a Socket 1155 motherboard has no issue or stability problems running and WSL1 / WSL 2 (Pi-Hole) and Docker without issue.
If you move up to the Threadrippers, those are do not seem to have this issue that the Ryzen does. Just a heads up.

Thanks for the response!
I am not planning to run any VMs. If necessary in future I might consider a dual boot, but I don't really use Windows much. So chances are slim.

Thanks!
