I think I used Linux once in college and never tried it again, sooooo ... none? :(

Give it a shot again. Linux boot media makes it simple to try out without committing to it :) There is a ton you can do with a much lighter footprint than Windows/OSx. There is def a learning curve for those who aren't too versed with the open source nature of it, but for those who love to tinker and have complete control over every aspect of the system, it is perfect environment.

I love Ubuntu but Linux Mint has such a nice look to it. It is my 'go to' pretty much every time.

Pi OS, which is a derivative of Debian which I thought was rather popular so I'm surprised it isn't listed.

My first interaction with linux was Ubuntu when I was like 16 years old. Amazingly quick OS on any older hardware, but my knowledge was not adept enough to use it for any other reason other than a web browser. :p

I am a huge fan of ubuntu and mint for the casual desktop experience. I currently use freeNas for my extra storage. I also have just become familiar with infobeamer. It is a digital sign program that I am using for an art display.
