Microcenter replacement plan - disappointment to say the least

I purchased a LG monitor in Jan 2020 and also got 2 yrs replacement plan. I was told buy the associate to get the replacement plan as I could come in anytime within 2 years if I had an issue with it and I will be given gift card of same value if same monitor is not in stock. Now I am having issues with the monitor. When I took it to the Chicago store I was told it will be checked by service. I explained what is the issue I was having. They called me and told me everything is fine. I asked to speak to the service manager, the person who called me said service manager is on break and will call me back soon. I never got a call. Last evening I was told someone will call me within 24 hours. Its been over 24 hours and nobody called.

I am a longtime microcenter customer and disappointed to see how they are handling my issue. Sales associate told me one thing, service team tells me something else and nobody from management calls after repeated attempts. I feel like I paid $89.99 for an useless plan and its just a way for Microcenter to get customers to pay more for no reason.
